Also, if you were planning on bringing a car, this is clearly not the option for you. The other option is to take one of the high speed ferries from Athens to the island. This is one of the more popular methods of transportation and unlike a flight, allows you to bring your car to the island.

If you are not looking to hit the bars and clubs, there are plenty of other options like the delicious restaurants and the amazing local shops that tend to have hours that expand into the late night hours.
